An event that provokes feelings of both joy and sadness. Sometimes applied to ironic situations.

When David broke up with Katie and they had hot break-up sex, the mood was one of cum and tears.

Person A: "I hit a lick on the lottery, but I lost the ticket."
Person B: "Cum and tears, yo."
