White Down 

When a partner in a law firm (who is almost always white) writes down or writes off billable hours accounted by a person of color associate, in part, because they do not look like their white associate counterpart.

White male associate: Hey! Got a pretty good bonus this year for making my billable hours…did you?

POC female associate: No, I got so many “white downs” because the white partners in this law firm devalue my time, bro.
