It's a korean drama series in 2017 which tell the tales of the Silla dynasty which has never been turn into a book nor a movie before. Starring 6 main male characters which become one of the Hwarang, soldiers for the people and royalty--like a korean muskeeters.
It is said that the Hwarang are beautiful choosen men with certain specialty, being the son of the officials. The word Hwarang itself means beautiful flower.

"Have you watched Hwarang yet? "
"No. Why? It's a drama right? "
"Yeah. You should watch it. It's full of gorgeous long haired samurai styled men. And the story is good, of course. "
