Same Pig, New Lipstick

A government that abominates policies of a previous administration while practicing those policies themselves, subtly or directly.
- referring to the "pig with lipstick" jokes about Sarah Palin.

Voter A: Our governor promised he'd cut the housing taxes, but he's just doing what the last guy did - raise 'em like hell!

Voter B: What can you do? Same pig, new lipstick.
