A word used to describe a particular person or thing that tries to be edgy, but ends up becoming incredibly cheesy and hilarious.
One particular example of total edgecheese is the game Hatred. It is understandable that a game about a deranged psychopath going around murdering innocents can be disturbing, but the voice acting within the game is so cheesy and poorly acted that you can't help but laugh at it.
