fleader

anyone who is not in an appointed or elected position of leadership --especially in unimportant or only semi-important school-sponsored activities -- but nonetheless attempts to act with authority, or "fleadership"; derived from faux-leader.

Did you see the way that freshman girl totally tried to pick the T-Shirt design? What a fleader.

Why was Ellissa directing the choir? She is such a fleader.
