1. when a new idea or thing becomes old too quickly due to immediate overuse.

2. when being around a person loses its appeal due to the fact that you have recently hung out with this person excessively. especially applies to people that are generally not well-liked anyway.
1. jake picked up the new video game, but it became road rashed when he played it nonstop for a week.

2. "i don't think we should call nick tonight. i feel like i've seen him every day this summer. he's been road rashed."
