Inner Variant Syndrome (IVS)

When somebody is so addicted to "standing out" that they end up looking thirsty and out of place. It’s the need to be a "variant" (different) at the wrong time and the wrong place. They’ll violate the whole vibe of an event just to feel like they’re the "one of one" in the room, then get salty when people look at them sideways

We’re at a PGA event where everyone is in polos and slacks, and she pulls up in a neon pink bodycon dress and six-inch heels like it’s 1:00 AM at the club. That Inner Variant Syndrome (IVS) had her looking crazy trying to walk on the grass.
