just like religion, it's good but there is always bad side of it ... the community, newbie mostly. Old 9gaggers are just like another internet website users such as 4Chan ( which is the master ), Reddit ( where meme dies ), Tumblr ( where meme became porn ), and there is 9Gag ( where all of that happen in a better/shitter ways )
