A word used by people trying too hard to look cool, people who have no idea what social media is, people who say "think of the children" 24/7, etc.
The news sometimes: Youngsters are spending more time texting and TikTok-ing
People who are actually intelligent: ooooohhh wow, what a "please think of the children" thing to say! I bet that news reporter goes home saying "what's an internet"
