Toothhound

A person who loves speaking, debating, storytelling, or “spitting
game” through intelligent or witty conversation. A toothhound is someone constantly yapping, chatting, analyzing, gossiping, philosophizing, or verbally entertaining others.
The term originates from houndstooth, the pattern. A
hound is traditionally a dog that tracks and pursues using scent or sight; a toothhound pursues through speech, intellect, charisma, and conversation.
Classic examples of toothhounds include groups of girls
talking for hours in packs, podcast hosts, social commentators,
smooth talkers, and anyone who thrives through verbal expression.
