A person who compulsively collects and keeps many tabs open on their web browser. Also a person who refuses to close a tab on their web browser for fear that they will regret it in the future, and so ends up compiling more tabs day after day.

My one friend is such a tab rat; she's so obsessed with fanfiction that every time she finds a new link to a new fic, she will keep it open on her browser until the foreseeable future in case she needs to re-read it.

One who keeps multiple tabs open on their computer browser. Tab rats seldom close a tab and at times have so many open they slowdown or crash their computer. Confronted with unwanted audio playback they can have trouble finding the source as they sort through tab after tab. Analogous to a pack rat.

My mom the tab rat tortures her computer, never closing a tab on her browser while complaining about how slowly it runs.

Serial Monogamist

Someone who jumps from one relationship immediately into another one.

Serial monogamists can not stand to be alone and often suffer from vast commitment and insecurity issues.

Because they jump into relationships immediately after the previous one has ended, serial monogamists typically don't take the time to reflect on their behavior or why their previous relationships failed; thus, they end up making the same relationship mistakes over and over again.

Person 1: Damn, Dustin already has a new girlfriend?! It's only been two weeks since he broke up with his fiance! I think he's a sociopath.

Person 2: No, he's a serial monogamist...
