Startegy 

startegy the initial intention or direction at the start of the planning or project process can also be use to mean the method from getting from A to B or reaching the end goal.

This differs from the word strategy as strategy may evolve during the process where as Startegy is just the initial intended way of achieving a goal.

Our Startegy was to control all aspects of the project from a single plan however the strategy changed over time to release control to various departments.
