Songkhla aka. Singgora/Singora in Malay is a province of Southern Thailand bordering Pattani, Yala, Satun and Phatthalung. The province is also located in the Gulf of Thailand and near Malaysia with some considerable Malay and Muslim Thai populations with a majority buddhist religious population. One of the largest city is Hat Yai.
