adj. being in state of disconnected groggy semiconsciousness similar to drunkeness, due to lack of sleep; overtiredness; has side effects of disfunction of motor, communication, and reflex skills.

(Alex falls awkwardly, refuses to get up, begins laughing uproariously at nothing, then goes limp and tries sleeping on floor...bathroom floor)

Alex: (slurringly) I only got an hour of sleep last night.
