instagram rp— also called ig rp— is a place where people of many roleplay styles like to be creative. that means themes, edits, or intros that relate to their character(s)’ aesthetic. there are clichés such as dark harry styles models being above six feet, false positive ariana grande models, tiktok children, etc. most people who preach about instagram rp’s potential toxic nature usually have had one or two bad experiences and begin to generalize. they also tend to forget about other communities like twitter or even facebook being the same way. if you don’t like it, please remember blocking and reporting are options as well as leaving instead of enabling behaviors by “exposing.”

“RP frog” is used to describe a Twitch viewer who is so emotionally invested in online roleplay games, that they end up feeling the need to criticize anybody’s performance to the minute detail, regardless if their point even makes sense. It is common for RP frogs to give death threats on chatrooms, spend hours bitching and moaning on online forums, and bully others for having a different opinion than them. RP talk is a shortened term of the words role-play talk in which one has to type his actions in the middle of two asterisks and/or other symbols - since they are just meant to differentiate, and his normal speech without any other symbols whatsoever.
