Rock Rivalry 

A competion in East Rockaway High School that takes place between the months of January and March, involving students in grades 9 through 12. Rock Rivalry consists of many competitive and creative events, such as a sports night, arranging/directing a short musical production, and creating both a stand and mural to reflect the theme of each respective performance. Nassau Community College studies have found that the competition causes a great deal of inter-class and intra-class tensions. In addition, the only award for winning said event is a silver cup that the class can only keep for 2 days, usually resulting in copious amounts of alcohol consumption for both winners and losers alike. For about 2 months, this is all the high school will be talking about. East Rockaway High School has had this tradition every year since 1936

Rock & Roll Ralphs 

The infamous Ralphs grocery store on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, California. Notorious for being packed around 2 to 3 AM after the clubs close, with drunken people trying to buy liquor for after-hours parties.

The scene of many alcohol-induced collapses and vomitings.

So named not only for it's late-night debauchery, but also it's proximity to Guitar Center, and the other music stores nearby on Sunset Blvd.

Red Rock Rapist 

The Red Rock Rapist is an urban legend in the famous hiking canyon of Red Rock,Las Vegas, Nevada. He is known to wait for unsuspecting young female hikers to pass by him before being brutally raped. Some claim he is an incubus who has been dead for hundreds of years waiting to rape the living.

Eren:Haven't you heard of the Red Rock Rapist?
Nikki:No,who is it?
Eren:It is this guy who waits in caves to rape girls.
Nikki:That's not funny!
Eren:Yeah,some think he is an incubus too.He rapes from beyond the grave.

Rock Rat 

A die hard rock climbing enthusiast. Spends a significant number of days each year outside climbing, and often climbs in the off season when it's too cold for casual climbers. Sees climbing as more of a lifestyle than a hobby.

It was 40 degrees and windy in Yosemite Valley, but a few rock rats were already high up on the granite by 9am.

Rock and roll is the simple name given to the musical/cultural/attitude movement that shaked the minds and the pants of thousand of youngsters all around the world. It all started during the early 50's and it all began with the influence of blues, country and r'n'b music. You can say that Chuck Berry invented it, but it is known that Elvis personified like no one else.
