Used as a verb to describe the act of commandeering a vehicle or any other tool, utility or space, with or without force. Origin: in the videogame Grand Theft Auto III and its successors, on the payststion 2, pushing triangle will command the character to enter or commandeer any nearby vehicle.
When James Bond unbuckled the big Indian thug's elephant chariot in 'Octopussy', dude just ran over and totally pushed triangle on some other elephant and kept going. Push triangle.
