In the United Kingdom where documents, designated Top secret, are allowed to be make public after a period of 30 years, unless they are designated too sensitive and they remain sealed. I have created the word Publification to describe this action.
This word can be extended to mean any information published to the public.
(related to Publification). But Self-publification relates to the act of promotion of yourself to the public. Can be in person or in the form of published in magazines or newspapers.
The in mordern world of 'Celebrity' the term self-publification can be used extensively to describe people like Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, who are regularly in the press and often at their own instigation not by others in order to create more interest in themselves.
Also the act of putting yourself in the press to increase your celebrity status.
A theme in fictional works where a character who sees themselves as "impure" (common examples in erotic works are non-virgins, prostitutes, used goods, and damaged goods; common examples in non-erotic works are criminals, sinners, and people with zero sense of self-worth in general) is moved by the compassion of another character, hence "purified". The important part is that the impure character no longer feels impure, either temporarily or permanently.
Non-virgin: You shouldn't fall in love with me. I'm... not a virgin.
Chad: That doesn't matter to me. I love you, no matter what you are.
Reader: So this is purification... not bad at all...
