A very nice, generous, misunderstood group of people. No they don't practice poligamy and have multiple wives. We only try to do the best we can in life. We're not perfect and don't think we're perfect. We only strive to work hard and get through life without much trouble. We don't put down other religions, and we don't think you'll go to hell or whatever just because you're in a different religion. We believe everyone has a chance to have eternal salvation and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are two seperate beings, and that Christ created the Earth. We are Christian. And no, we don't think Joseph Smith (the translator of the book of mormon) is a god, we believe he is a prophet of God.We aren't here to overtake the world, we promise. We only try to allow everyone who would like to hear about our church to hear about it. We understand that its your choice to join or not and we don't to force it upon you. Thank you, and I hope you understand mormons better.
Oh, there goes a missionary. He's not scary, he's just trying to do the best he can in life.

to start, the word "mormon" is not the name of our church. it is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints". people use the word "mormon" because of the "Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ". a lot of people dont know the truth about our religon and actually are afraid to know, so they make up lies to make themselves feel better, tougher, and to feel like they´ve accomplished something through their lies. this Church is not the Church of Joseph Smith. if it was it would be called the Church of Joseph Smith. he, Joseph Smith, was a prophet called by our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to restore the true Church again on this earth after the great apostasy, or period of time without prophets. a prophet is a man called on earth to be the spokesperson for God for the good of His children here on earth. God restored His priesthood, or power to act and do ordinaces such as baptism in His name, through the prophet Joseph Smith. we do not worship Joseph Smith, that would be against the 1st and 2nd commandments of the ten commandments which we also believe in, which are there is only one God and not to worship idols, saints or anything else in the sky, ground and sea. we worship God, our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. they are seperate beings but one in purpose. the Holy Ghost is also a part of the Godhead, and he testifies of the truthfullness of the Gospel. through and only through the Holy Ghost can we know the truth of all things. if you would like to know more, talk to a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or its represenitives, the missionaries. they can answer any questions you have and help you resolve doubts and concerns. and of course, God our Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. feel free to pray to Him and ask what is right for you. He knows each and every one of us because we are his children. He will not, and can not lead us astray.
dont be afraid of the mormons, or the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, they dont bite. and no we dont want to just convert you. we want to help you know and understand the truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ lost by the confusion of the world and its many religions, and help you convert yourselves through the power of the Holy Ghost.

-"if any lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally and upbraidth not, and it shall be given him. but ask with faith..." James 1:5-6

-"by the power of the Holy Ghost, ye may know the truth of all things." Moroni 10:5

*Also known as L.D.S.
*Really cool guys to hang with
*Are easilly misunderstood
*Have a rather loose, laid back religion, nothing is really required of it's members, thats just what people think at first glance
*Believe that God is 1 person, Jesus is 1 person, and the HG is 1 person, which makes waaaaaay more sence than them being all one person
*Aren't poligymists, those are those reorganized fundamentalist fucktards that gave us a bad friggin name.
*Don't want to degrade, be better than, or flame any other religion.
Mack: Yeah, you know those whores down in colorado city?

religious people also known as members of The church of jesus christ of latter day saints. I am a mormon. I love to play frisbee (its the mormons game you might say) we believe in the bible and the book of mormon. we are allowed to drink pop and we do not practice polygamy as many rumors say we do. we are actually pretty normal good people. You may see 2 guy missionaries walking or riding a bike in a white shirt and tie. most likely mormon. you probably have many mormon friends and not know it. being mormon is fun spiritual and clean. I am 14 myself and totally enjoy it. Utah is not our holy city but just a place where mormons were forced to from mobs who for some reason didn't like us.
being mormon is healthy for your body.

Due to an earlier misapropriation im writing this because Mormon the maker of the book of mormon did state and practice that polygamy was alright. Also some sects of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints do still practice polygamy. Though overall not a bad group of people everyone of them ive met are nice to a point of it being obscene.
Recent news. NBC, CBS and such that was like a few weeks ago though.
