A conversation between two moms, usually suburban middle class, that is filled with "oh I know"s and "you know what"s. Sentences are stated in an excessively dramatic way, and always with extremely varied tones. Usually takes place in a grocery store or similar area. Cheryl and Mindy's momversation lasted over half an hour in the grocery store; both of their sons were praying for death by the end.

discussion held between your mother and a friend she "hasn't seen in ages!", often held in or around a grocery store and lasting exactly TOO LONG Two women having a Momversation:
"How ARE you?...Oh, I KNOW, right?...You know {child's name} just finished {difficult task}/got back from {foreign country}/was accepted to {prestigious school}/made the {sports team}... |

|
A conversation between moms that doesn't get finished because kids are around. It's the equivilant of a conversation between two people with ADHD, but the distraction is the kids. "Hey Lori, let me tell you about my trip to the".....which then gets redirected to little child "get off that roof right now." When the momversation gets started again, the original topic was forgotten and a new topic begins until another child interruption.
