Derivative of "masturbate." The act of indulging in "analysis paralysis" when you should be getting things done instead. Possibly coined by Ryan Davis. A distant cousin of the verb "to bikeshed." A: "I dunno, dude. The iPhone is sexy, but this Android phone comes with lasers."
