Jakob likes dudes 

A phrase commonly used by distance runners when there is a break in any conversation. On Fridays he likes men though. If Jakob is dating a woman then a distance runner must quietly say “and women” after the phrase is uttered. This phrase is also commonly said in Taylorism as a prayer.

Be Dude-Like

Be happy. Be kind. Always have a smile on your face. Show up for others, especially when it’s hard. Become the comfort someone else needs.

Inspired by Dude — a therapy dog who spent his life visiting hospitals, comforting people on their hardest days and making strangers smile when they needed it most. He didn’t belong to just one person — he showed up for anyone who needed him.

When Dude crossed the Rainbow Bridge, he didn’t run toward paradise — he turned around and waited at the gate. Now, he welcomes every dog who arrives so none of them feel scared or alone, continuing the same work he started on Earth.

His mom says she’s proud of him for taking care of all the angels in Heaven, and his story continues to bring comfort to so many.

Dude only asks one thing:
Don’t be sad because he’s gone — find joy because he lived.

Not all angels have wings. Some have paws.
