Someone, or a group, adhering to liberal and/or progressive politics, beginning with Theodore Roosevelt, to Barack Obama. Diametrical opposite of George W. Bush and neo-conservative politics. Usually used as internet shorthand.
Libprogs oppose foreign war, corporate bailouts, flat taxes, social conservatism, and are for secularism and minority rights.
