Kilroy Was Here

An old graffiti that U.S. GI's would write on the walls of occupied areas. This was very popular During WW2 and the Korean war. This Legend of how "Kilroy was here" starts is with James J. Kilroy, a shipyard inspector during WWII. He chalked the words on bulkheads to show that he had been there and inspected the riveting in the newly constructed ship. To the troops in those ships, however, it was a complete mystery β€” all they knew for sure was that he had "been there first." As a joke, they began placing the graffiti wherever they (the US forces) landed or went, claiming it was already there when they arrived.
Kilroy became the US super-GI who always got there first β€” wherever GI's went. It became a challenge to place the logo in the most unlikely places. It was said to be atop Mt. Everest, the Statue of Liberty, the underside of the Arch de Triumphe, and scrawled in the dust on the moon. An outhouse was built for the exclusive use of Truman, Stalin, and Churchill who were there for the Potsdam conference. The first person to use it was Stalin. He emerged and asked his aide (in Russian), "Who is Kilroy?"
The Kilroy fad died some time in the 1960s, but can be still seen around the world.
Where ever you go, Kilroy already beat you to it.
"Kilroy Was Here, so piss off"

The new super heros of the world, out to bring colour and spread the message of the ugly truth to the rest of this conformist society.
We were created by My chemical romance thanks to their new album "Danger days - the true lives of the fabulous Killoys"
The original Killjoys consist of Pary Poison (Gerard Way) Jet star (Ray toro) Fun ghoul (Frank iero) and Kobra kid (Mikey way).
The names of these killjoys have also been rumoured to have something to do wih President JF kennedy, this is due to PJFK the first leters of he bands killjoy names. there is also a kennedy reference in the popular single from he album "NANANA", and the album its self was released on kennedys 50th aniversary. coincedence?
Many of the fans of my chemical romance (the MCRmy) have now adapted the name Killjoy and have even given theirselves killjoy names of heir own such as "NeonDeath" or "Rainbowninja". Killjoys typically dress in bright coloured biker jackets, tight jeans, biker boots, bright bandanna/ helmet/ mask, and wear shoe-laces tied round their wrists or wear gloves.
Killjoys carry a brighly coloured Ray-Gun for fighing the enemy (Draculoids).
Killjoys often have brightly coloured hair (inspired by gerard way's crimson red hair).
The Killjoys of the MCRmy will fight for what is right for what they believe and for the band that they love.
"Killoys, make some noise!"

person 1 : "whats she wearing?"

person 1: "whats that?"

In December 1946 the New York Times credited James J. Kilroy, a welding inspector at the Bethlehem Steel shipyard in Quincy, Massachusetts, with starting the craze. Usually, inspectors used a small chalk mark, but welders were erasing those to get double-paid for their work. To prevent this, Mr Kilroy marked his welding work with the long crayoned phrase ("Kilroy was here") on the items he inspected. The graffito became a common sight around the shipyard and was imitated by workers when they were drafted and sent around the world. As the war progressed, people began opening void spaces on ships for repair, and the mysterious Mr Kilroy's name would be found there, in sealed compartments "where no one had been before."
