An innocent Patrick is a young individual who displays a complete misunderstanding of basic social contexts and the most simple and instinctive of references. He must be male but does not necessarily need to be named Patrick. Indeed a Jim, Brian or Paul could all be perfectly accurately described as an 'innocent Patrick'.
