get an inbox

Derived from the expression "get a room." When couples constantly leave romantic, mushy or suggestive messages on each other's Facebook wall for everyone else to see, someone else may tell them to "get an inbox already" and carry on in private.
Sadie: I love you SO FUCKING MUCH ahhhhhhh Im gonna die from how much I love you <3 <3 <3

Ian: me too bby

Sabrina: holy shit guys, get an inbox

Inbox Zero

When you have no messages in your email inbox. Such a goal is often elusive, because the more email you clear out and reply to, the more new messages come in.
I reached my goal of inbox zero by Friday afternoon, but Monday morning I had 42 new messages.

Crush The Inbox

The act of answering support emails which have accumulated over the day and which have not yet been processed with a ticket.
The emails are piling up so can someone please crush the inbox?

Inbox me

A person who is too stupid to use the word 'email' or 'message' and simply refers to the folder the message arrives in, rather than the method of transportation.

If you see or hear someone use this phrase, it is best to remove all technology from that persons zone of influence and prevent them from using it again. Cutting off their fingers is extreme but may well be acceptable for the good of humanity as a whole.
"If you know this guy please inbox me." "I'd rather troll you first if that's ok? And link Urban Spoon whilst I'm at it"

Inbox Me

Phrase used by those too stupid to say "email" that don't know the difference between a noun and a verb. An instant indication that you are dealing with a moron.
"Dude, inbox me on that later." "Never mind. I don't want to know you".

inbox rot

To neither accept, nor decline a friend request from someone on Facebook or Myspace. Used in situations when you don't want to accept someone's friend request, but you also don't want to be rude by declining them.
Dude, that asshole friend of my girlfriend just sent me a friend request on Facebook. He's getting the inbox rot.

inbox me

What people say when they are to fucked in the head to know the difference between a message and where the message is stored.
Fuckhead: Just inbox me.
Normal person: Sorry what?
Fuckhead: You know, send me an inbox.
Normal person: *lose faith in humanity, delete, block*
