dripping in paint

A phrase used to describe someone who is so fresh, they may as well be wet paint. Someone who's drippin' in paint would also be expected to leave a large tip, just like Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa.
Snoop: "I'm tippin like i'm dripping in paint"
Wiz: "wtf you talkin about snoop?"
Snoop: "I dunno I'm too high to explain, but I just left your pink slip as a tip."

go hard in the paint

Finish a task aggressively, trying really hard to get it done. Comes from basketball, where players must aggressively drive to the hoop from within the painted region of the court.
Bill is all about makin' his cash, hustlin' to the top. He likes to go hard in the paint.

hard in the paint

To approach a problem, obstacle, or challenge with supreme confidence of success through a commitment to use all facilities available to one's self to achieve a goal.

The term has etymological roots in the basketball parlance that describes an attempt to score in the crowded and highly contested area directly under and immediately adjacent to the raised hoop on a basketball court, or "painted" area. Shot attempts in this area are traditionally only successful when made with a strong conviction to score, skill, overpowering strength, or a combination thereof (i.d. "going hard").
When we saw Dason had put on his best suit and matching Tag Heuer timepiece, we knew he going hard in the paint to his job interview that afternoon.

Peed in the paint

Similar to "jumping the shark", of Happy Days fame, "peeing in the paint" refers to a point in a relationship that signals it's eventual demise.
My girlfriend peed in the paint last night. Time for an upgrade.

Step In The Paint

Calling someone out to fight. Derives from coming into the area under the rim of a basketball court and recieving a hard foul.
Daniel told Johntray "Step in the paint".
