1. From the letter A through to the letter Z, the authors of this website's content have done nothing but show to the world that they are in fact......illiterate. All synonms apply.

2. When our country routinely ranks 24th (or worse) amongst the top 25 industrialized nations of the world in academic ability, why do we glorify that which is so grossly illiterate and ignorant. Do we really want to become a nation so inable to compete in global markets that our grandchildren /great-grandchildren will work for a bowl of rice a day? It WILL be our fate unless we start raising our standards. Including our humor.

The person next to you. The one with the stupid look on their face as they look over your shoulder at the screen wondering what all the symbols mean.
It's okay, I understand that you're illiterate, but we can play video games later.

Why are you looking over my shoulder? You're illiterate.

Get the illiterate mug.
A user on a website who lacks the proper literacy skills needed to communicate properly. They spell words with "shorthand" spelling, known as chatspeak. Words are spelled with singly letters, number replace letters in some words.

These people claim that they type that way because it's quicker & easier, which shows tell-tale signs of lazyness. They accuse people who type properly of being elitists.
Man, I'm glad that illiterate is gone. Couldn't he read that this is a Literates room?
