A "Hunskelper" is an honourary title given to a player by the Celtic support in recognition of his achievements in playing his part in consistently scoring against Rangers of a high quality that it led to victories, or the man has consistently played a strong part in the side to thwart Rangers from victory. The player will have played his part in the respective matches such that his performance was of a standard that would rankle with the Rangers fans.

Derived from "Hun" - A commonly used term for a person affiliated with manky Rangers and the verb "to skelp" (to hit or beat)
