Fish in a pot

Derived from the classic Dr. Seuss story 'Cat in the Hat' , a fish in a pot is a killer of fun and joy, one who is stuck up and worrisome in the face of fun, games and adventure.
"You're being a real fish in a pot right now". Trina says to her clingy, overprotective boyfriend who doesn't want her to go out with her friends.

The Tuna Fish & Potato Salad Theory

The theory that people prefer the method in which their mom made tuna and potato salad over all other methods.
"I bought potato salad from the deli, but it's not like Mom used to make!" It just goes to show that The Tuna Fish & Potato Salad Theory is true.

Fish Potato

A potato that is also a fish. Commonly worshipped by middle schoolers, the fish potato is believed to be the soul essence of everything around us. It can be used in any sentence and still kinda make sense.

No one knows where or how it started, but we do know it's everywhere now. You can't escape the fish potato.
Middle Schooler: Darn. I haven't been feeling very fish potato lately.
Other Middle Schooler: Oh my fish potato! That's awful!

fishpotism

a command, anecdote or explanation that is irrelevant, pedantic in nature, generally self-serving, and often thoroughly ignored.
(impetus) "The latest 'Star Wars' is coming out soon."

(fishpotism) "I pushed my bosom WAY up, and this schmuck still hadn't taken notice, so I abandoned my booth at the REN-Fair and got online for Star Wars tickets. Am I really the only server who believes in polishing glassware. How about that Chewbacca... hairy huh?"
