Someone who feels that the best way to contribute to a conversation is to make an obscure reference to something as if it were some sort of inside joke that no one else involved in the conversation is aware of.

Jim: Hey, How you doin' Bob?
Bob: About as well as Peter when Lois beat the crap out of him.
