1) the process of going through withdrawls when you are denied access to a piece of technology such as the internet or your blackberry.

2) going without technology

We went on vacation to a Polynesian island that had no wifi and no internet. I couldn't get any cell phone signal. I was going through total e-tox for the whole week.

1. Electronic detoxifcation.

2. Detoxification from electronic and/or digital devices.

3. The process of weaning oneself from the use of electronic and/or digital communication devices.

I've decided to e-tox. Don't try to reach me, I'll be leaving my blackberry and laptop at home.
