actual surname for a German television soap (Alles was zählt/All That Matters) gay affair between characters Deniz and Roman. said DeRo relationship apparently has a cult following in Europe, at least according to the Utmost Source of All-Encompassing Knowledge (Wikipedia).

Roman is a figure skater, and Deniz is a teenage hockey player. talk about global ice melting in colder climates.

DeRo might be ground-breaking, but this series still sucks!
