Dani California is the first single from the Chili Peppers since 2003
One of the greatest funk rock songs to be released in the history of forever. It hit radio's nationwide on April 4th, however, if you were awesome you went to www.vids4life.com 2 weeks prior to that and got to see the full length video (which by the way is FREAKING awesome video). It is sung by the Red Hot Chili Peppers who is a band that has made its own genre that remains untouched by any other band because there style of playing is so unique. They are simply amazing, and so is this song, which is released on the Stadium Arcadium album due May 9th, 2006
California rest in peace
California show your teeth
Shes my priestess im your priest
^^ they manage to make that sound so freaking awesome even while they look like total trannys, hippies, or even goths.
Simply put, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Dani California rock your socks.
In the video of Dani California they imitate loads of rock bands from different eras. This song does sound pretty similar to Mary janes last dance but thats cuz they had the same producer (rick rubin). Anyway Dani California
is sped up and the first 8 bars of both songs sound similar, the chords are not exactly the same, with "Mary Jane's Last Dance" being "Am, G, D, Am" and "Dani California" being "Am, G, Dm, Am". But yeah that is pretty similar.
Dani California is about "every woman Anthony Kiedis
has ever dated. The song talks about the hard life and demise of this character "Dani."
A song from the album, "Stadium Arcadium" created by the band,"The Red Hot Chili Peppers".
If you listen to this song and then go listen to Tom Petty's "Mary Jane's Last Dance" you'll see that they sound quite similar to each other... Some people believe that the peppers stole this song from petty...
I listened to Dani California yesterday, and it sounded the same as Mary Jane's Last Dance!!!
A rip off of the beat to Tom Petty's song "Last Dance With Mary Jane".
Red Hot Chili Peppers stole the beat to Dani California from Tom Petty
