Used to describe the diary derived spreadable fat compound found within most refrigerators. In the Midwest and East coast it is more commonly shaped into thin and long stick that measures to a half cup when liquified. Chode butter is found from the
Rocky Mountains to the west coast. Unlike its midwestern counterpart, the shape of Chode Butter is unique because it is shorter and thicker while retaining the same half cup measurement. While locally they are known as “stubbies”, Chode butter is used the term by eastern
transplants and
objectively the better term.

different ”
