Despite the gentrification, many locals still refer to the Central District as a predominantly African-American area. One possible reason for this is that despite the decline in the African-American population, Blacks still have a large presence in the neighborhood. The neighborhood has the highest concentration of blacks in the state of Washington and is still home to a variety of African-American culture including several gospel churches.
During the early 1960s, the neighborhood was a hotbed for the Seattle civil rights movement. In 1963, civil rights protesters took to the streets and protested against racial discrimination. Later, they participated in a sit-in in downtown Seattle. At the same time, the Black Panthers used the neighborhood as a staging area for their movement.

In the 1980s and 90s, the neighborhood struggled with gang violence, most noticeably with the infamous West Coast Crips and Bloods in a similar way to Tacoma's Hilltop Neighborhood. Quite possibly the dumbest school district ever, EGCSD has hired some of the most professional teachers and bus drivers. Sexual encounters, touching students in gym class, writing derogatory statements about your boss in shit on the bathroom wall, and numerous teachers doing anything but teach are just a few examples of the fine professional staff. This disease ridden place is notable for the H1N1 outbreak that caused 500+ students to stay home sick on a single day. This is called the H1NFUN outbreak because of the joy that seeing kids sick brought to teachers. Mostly known as that place JWOWW went to. Studies have shown scumbags outnumber everyone else 10 to 1 at Columbia High School which is home to what is quite possibly the worst football team ever. If you were to ask if the football team won their most recent game you would be laughed at for asking such a dumb question. On St Patricks Day shirts are sold that say "Kiss me I'm from Columbia" unfortunately due to false advertising these shirts were supposed to say "Kiss me I have Herpes" the corrected shirts have not yet been made available so beware. This school is also known for poorly named policies such as Operation Electric Thunder which of course was a dismal failure. Not to be outdone by teachers and administrators getting pregnant each class has about 5 people who pollute the gene pool of upstate NY. The school’s dress code is hardly ever followed because teachers enjoy looking at the students dressed like sluts.

Full of a bunch of low life, scumbag, drug fiends.
People from CS think they are hardcore, but there a bunch of vaginas. All talk, and when things get to heavy for these simple minded bafoons, they resort to fighting, egging, and an eternal obsession for drugs. But there are some good kids hidden among the leaves and control our bright future as i can tell they will be making 6-digit incomes. But the rest of the bunch don't work for a dime in there lives and still believe they're in a gangster crew and everything they say, do, or quote (that they pulled offline on a site they would never touch in their life because they don't have the brain capacity for it) is the new fad or "cool" thing to do, where will they be ten years from now? still home with their parents, low pay job, no license, no car, and titled the TLC's version of a Scrub. A school district filled with stuck up, spoiled brats.
Central Bucks has won various awards, none of which are very important. People pack into the area (hence why there are 3 high schools, 5 middle schools, and 15 elementary schools) just to say "oh, my child goes to central bucks" like anyone aculty cares.
Newer housing developments are abundant in this area, great big houses on a quarter acre lots. You can sit on your deck and feel claustrophobic because all you can see is walls of siding. Lawn mowing takes 15 min tops, not that anyone aculty gets their pampered ass on a mover, they just hire mexicans to do it for them. 85% of people from central bucks live in this type of neighborhood.
Central Bucks has alliances with the other nearby richie schools: North Penn, Council Rock, and Cetennial. Kids from these schools are snobby, but not as bad as CB kids. Their enemies are the districts from upper bucks: Pennridge, Souderton, Quakertown, and Palisades. Kids here are more normal. Although, CB kids think their trashy because according to them "one story houses and driving cars from late 90s / early 2000s" is so ghetto.
CB kids don't know what normal is. To them normal is: Living in a huge house, driving a new car paid for by mommy and daddy, not working, having college completly paid for by mommy and daddy, and relying on mommy and daddy until the day they die. These people are just palin bad people that only care about them selves.

My school which sucks. They haven’t won a homecoming game in years , classrooms are smoking hot in the summer , valley Central is too broke to change are ID photos so I gotta look at my old ass photo of me from 7th grade , the hallways always stink like ass cheeks and don’t forget the Anime kids and weird ass kissing couples 24\7 and the bathrooms you enter you literally feel like ur getting high without smoking anything 2nd hand smoke go crazy!! Also don’t let me forget the FAKE ASS people you’ll meet in this place. Good tip for you guys don’t be in a friendship with 2 other friends cuz you know damn well 2 of you guys are closer then the other. WELL ANYWAYS THATS MY SCHOOL FOR YA
