when you eat a lot of carbohydrates before going out to a party to get drunk. so as to have the carbs absorb some of the toxins and reduce the chance of puking.

Guy 1: hey man, you ready to go to bryans party and get drunk as shit? he's got three kegs.

Guy 2: oh you know i am! just lemme carb up really quick, i don't want to look like you last time, and puke all over lindsey.

A phrase that is common among the vocal vegan population. It is meant as the solution to literally EVERYTHING especially when you are starving like hell and are forced to eat and entire bag of raw potatoes to survive.
