A girl that is too much of a brat and too stubborn to let an opportunity (ie: a guy) come close to her because she would not be in control of it.

Brett: "So what happened, did you guys go on that date?"
Matt: "Well, I wrote her name -- A-N-D-R-E-A -- in the sky with the smoke from fireworks, but she said that she had to rearrange her room -- it's alright, there's always next time!"

A program that was once very useful that has gone to the dark side.

You wrote a computer program that is supposed to look up the local weather and then send you an e-mail. Then for some reason, this once "nice" program re-formats your hard drive. We would say that this program has gone brastic.
