A portmanteau of blog and bankruptcy, declaring blogruptcy means making a new blog but not moving over your old posts. This could be because your old posts are no longer relevant or because technical reasons make it too much of a hassle to move all your previous content to a new system. After moving all my posts from livejournal to blogger to wordpress to jekyll, I'm going to declare blogruptcy and give up on converting my posts.
