Jamaican Colloquialism:
The term is used to refer to ammunition (bullets) made from copper, which upon penetrating the victim's flesh, and the cooper ore mixing with their blood, causes a chemical reaction, turning the blood a dark red almost black color. The victim usually doesn't recover from these injuries due to the blood being poisoned by the introduction of the poisonous copper into the bloodstream.
