Word commonly used in Northeastern Oklahoma to add emphasis to the end of a statement or to signify a question. Can also be used by itself to signify agreement.
Emphasis: “That’s a big ‘un annit.”
Question: “You want to go down to that Mexican restaurant annit?”
Agreement: “Annit”
Question: “You want to go down to that Mexican restaurant annit?”
