A way of disagreeing with someone without saying "you're wrong" outright; can be clever, polite, subtle, or patronizing, depending on the emphasis given to the word 'probably.' ADAM: The earth revolves around the sun.
DAN: No way, dude, the sun totally revolves around the earth. ADAM: You're probably right. |
