Origin of word also influenced by the location of where it was coined, Barstow, CA. Developed in 1987 by two brothers, 16 and 18, during a family vacation. Shortly after a picnic lunch in Barstow, the elder brother underwent a farting and diarrhea fit, a la Jeff Daniels in Dumb and Dumber. From then on, Barstow became Yogstow and Yogstow became a code word for farting. Word has only ever been used between the two founding brothers, until now.
