2) A gay bar, or party, where newly outed homosexuals are welcomed into the gay community.

1) Bruce wasn't sure how to introduce Brad to his life style, so he chose to take him to a Welcome Den for a night of drinks and dancing.

2) As Brad was looking forward to making his entry into the gay community, his new friends hosted a Welcome Den party for him, in honor of his coming out.
