Acronym for the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, the largest and best-known theatrical venue in Nashville. TPAC is housed in the James K. Polk Cultural Center at 505 Deaderick Street, and opened in 1981. When Shannon heard I was going to Nashville over the summer, she advised me to see a show at TPAC.
Nearly all students in middle Tennessee have gone on field trips to TPAC at least once in their lives. |
