In Colonial times, it wasn't considered gay if a man was a top in sexual intercourse between two men. This was regarded as a normal, heterosexual act. But The Reverse Colonial refers to a man being on bottom in sexual intercourse between two men and him (and possibly only him) not considering it to be anything but heterosexual.
