The act of turning a television station while a specific commercial is aired, to protest and boycott the content of the commercial. This in turn causes the station and the sponsor to lose revenue from said commercial when the station is turned before a set amount of seconds. The ad would more than likely be pulled from the station if enough people were to do it.
John: Did you see that last Walmart commercial?
Jane: No, because I acted with a teleboycott!
