Spotswood is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 7 km south-west from Melbourne's central business district. Spotswood is on the West Bank of the Yarra river, just of Port Phillip Bay.

Spotswood is known for Scienceworks museum and for being used as a filming loaction in the movies Mad Max, Harvie Krumpet and Spotswood (also titled the Efficiency expert).

Spotswood has significant industry, quality cafes and strong sports teams.
