A hoodie that is for show rather than for function, meaning the actual hood doesn't quite cover your head. It should, but it doesn't.
Should + hoodie = "shoodie."
Should + hoodie = "shoodie."
"You know, your shoodie would be a lot more practical in this rainstorm if you could pull the hood over your head."

Person A: See that guys Shoody?
Person B: Yes! I see that Shoody! It looks as though it's the natural evolution of fashion, as though we have finally reached the lofty pinnacle of fashion and there, resting at the top, as though the sword in the stone were a garment is a practical and stylish combination of all the things we love in clothing.
Person A: Oh no! A surprise weather change, it appears as though it's a summer shower!
Person B: Foolishly you and myself are ill prepared for such an occasion, but that dashing fellow in his shoody will surely prevail
